![]() ![]() Endless mode was nerfed making it much harder, though you could get 1000+ runs with mediocre parties prior to this nerf, just know it got a lot harder as the waves go on. More trinkets, some bad, some ok and a select few are really really good (Hellion). A few new bosses, with the exception of the Miller, the other two can ♥♥♥♥ right off, they are stupid fights with annoying gimmics and I hate fighting them. The new enemies have a nice design, not fantastic after the shiny new thing wears off, but they look good. The Districts also give you something else to spend your heirlooms on, giving you some more endgame fun or early/mid game boosts.ĬoM: This DLC adds a new area, the Farmstead, which serves as an endless fight. The Crimson Court trinket sets are mostly gimmicks, with most being good stand alone trinktets, but few sets being worth two trinket slots. On the brightside the game won't shove the new enemies down your throat in the base areas. Note, curse wasn't always bad, its just been nerfed too hard. The Crimson Curse is the only downside I have with this DLC, ironically, all it is is an uncureable disease (until late game) that acts as a permanant affliction that can kill heroes if you run out of blood, a new item that can be found. Among these bosses includes the Fanatic, the scariest hallway boss in the game both from a design and difficulty perspective, dear lord the first time I ran into this guy I was intimiated to kingdom come, he is a fantastic fight through and through. The new bosses added include some of my favourite and least favourite in the game, unless Cho's rework counts, some are annoying, all have the typical boss gimmick, but these ones can be HARD, unlike some in the base game, expect losses on first playthrough as you might not figure them out fast enough. Upon beating the first CC quest you get a cutscene, this DLC contains a few of those, but they aren't too long, are skippable and an interesting watch. The new enemies that it offers are some of the best looking in the whole game, though that is subject to opinion, and while they can be tedious to fight at points, I still love fighting them. The sound of buzzing insects is everywhere in this area and can be quite unsettling, which I love. This new area is fantasticaly designed in my opinion, from the moment you see the loading screen, with its classic DD style art, it just looks like it belongs and doesn't feel out of place from the rest of the game. I find that he works well in the new area, the Crimson Court, which is the bread and butter of this DLC.
